Privacy policy
TLDL summarizes the voice notes you forward to it on WhatsApp. This page explains which data we process, why, for how long and with which providers. If anything is unclear, write to info@tldl.app. The Italian version prevails in case of differences.

Legal bases
We process your data to provide the service you request when you forward a voice note (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Security, abuse prevention, troubleshooting and pseudonymous statistics rely on our legitimate interest in offering a reliable service (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Other people's voices and data
A voice note you forward may contain the voice and data of its sender or of third parties. We process them only to produce the summary you ask for, without keeping the audio or the transcript. Only forward voice notes you are entitled to share, and do not use TLDL for content the speaker would not want processed.
Who helps us provide the service
TLDL relies on the providers below, which process data on our behalf and following our instructions.

We send artificial intelligence providers only the audio or text needed for a single summary, without your phone number. Under their API terms, they do not use this data to train their models and keep it only for the limited time needed to prevent abuse. Transfers to the United States rely on the safeguards of the GDPR: the EU-US Data Privacy Framework adequacy decision for providers that adhere to it, or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
Artificial intelligence
Summaries are generated automatically by artificial intelligence and may contain errors: always double-check important times, addresses, amounts and names. We make no automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects on you.
Minimum age
TLDL is for people aged 14 or older.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to access, correct or delete your data, restrict its processing, receive it in a readable format, or object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to info@tldl.app from the contact you use with us: we reply within one month. You can also lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it), or with the authority of your country.
Changes
When we change this policy we update the date at the top. For important changes we will tell you in the chat before they apply.
